Hello!
I am Carolyn, the person behind the J home!
I am an architect with a huge passion for interior design and details!
In 2014, I started building my experience, while juggling around a 9-5 job in architectural firms and my freelance interior design projects where all my interests were put into action!
But I always had this gut feeling that something wasn’t right! This was not enough for me!
I was eager to learn something new, a new hobby, always puzzled me!
I remember learning to draw my teacher’s portrait in class while he was teaching us math!
Nothing has changed!
Back in my working days, you could find me googling how to take interior design photos, how to edit them,
what kit should I use!..-Don’t tell my ex-boss!-
So in November 2019 and in the midst of a chaotic situation in Lebanon, my home country, the universe played
its’ role on me!
I was left jobless, in my new apartment with a camera in hand, and with all the time in the world!
It took me a month, counting all the sleepless nights, to develop this idea that could explode in my head if it stayed for another minute!
Sitting in my bed at 2 am, I couldn’t but get to instagram and make this project become reality!
On the 27th of December, I created a page with absolutely no idea what to call it; but with a very defined purpose!
A place where I share corners of my home to showcase my interior design work, taste, tips, DIYs, inspo,.. That you can actually replicate in your homes!
A place to share home decor products from different suppliers, styling them together, curating every photo so that you can understand how to fit these products in your home!
A place based on trust! A trust that allowed me to easily enter your home to make the best out of every corner!
Designing your space to fit your lifestyle! And btw! You can’t believe how satisfied this makes me feel!

Yes I achieved my purpose! But was it my only one?!
Well I can admit that each time I reach a goal, I want more!

In November 2021, I launched my pillow collection!
These handmade pillows are uniquely designed to add the J home touch to your space!
It is distinguished by a refined design combined delicately with a high quality fabric, stuffed with the loftiest filling.
That’s my story; you are awesome since you’ve reached the end of it!
